Most sport smartphone users use a
dedicated application for managing activities, and Reebok entered this
competitions.
Reebok Fitness is the first
application the company designed to boost exercising among its clients.
Unlike other applications from
Nike or Adidas, Reebok’s solution for the exercise does not monitor the evolution
through the iDevice's sensors. Instead it offers advice, videos, and a combinations
of physical activities for an effective workout. This category includes walking
exercises, running, dancing, yoga or classical training. The application is designed
for both iOS and Android operating systems more as a coach than as a dedicated
timer that tells you how many calories you lost. To aid the application’s popularity
if you do not like an exercise or a routine, via a simple touch you can change
your exercise or the type of exercise.
In addition, the application
offers video guides for amateurs. Just so you better understand the correct
execution of certain types of exercise. Because a steady pace is most
important, the same application will try to make you feel indebted with warnings
and alerts designed to remind you to embrace the exercise routine that you
defined. Doesn’t lack the integrated social element through which you can share
your achievements on Facebook.
Passing over the fact that we are
talking about a very well designed app which is also free, is the first time I
see on the same page running exercises and yoga exercises. If you're curious to
see the Reebok’s application to boost sports activities, you can download the
application from Google Play and AppStore.
