Samsung Galaxy S 4 - Advanced hands on functions
Samsung Galaxy S 4 in the Chinese version appears on the
internet again.
If a few days ago I wondered how much the Chinese phone
present on a forum is the Samsung Galaxy S 4, we meet with the same phone today
presented several videos.
By presenting the new features that we all have heard , the
Chinese model seems to be quite close to a potential Samsung Galaxy S 4, but still
remains the dilemma of the dual SIM ... Samsung have chosen to market two
variants of the phone? I mean we can opt for a flagship with dual SIM? Or rather
all this masquerade is a Chinese fake thought something better? Regardless of
what we tend to believe, one thing is sure: the true Samsung Galaxy S 4 will be
presented in all its splendor at 7 pm in New York.
Do not forget to come back and check the blog and Facebook page
if you want to know as more details about the most anticipated smartphone of
the moment.
Facelift for Galaxy SIII ?!
Minor changes are expected For Galaxy S III at the hardware
level.
Currently at the rumor level, Samsung is preparing a new
star model starting from last year's flagship Galaxy S III. It talks about an
increase in battery capacity 2100 mAh how is currently to 2400 mAh and also an
improved display. There is no known exact data on how this technology could be
used for a better display, but I think it would be a bad idea to see a Super
AMOLED panel with a RGB matrix against the existing solution.
It should be taken into consideration that all the buzz is
currently focused on the launch of the Galaxy S 4 and most likely we will have
to wait until a Galaxy S III Plus will make its appearance on the. Judging by
the new movement made by Samsung with the Galaxy S II Plus I’m quite tempted
to think that we have a Plus version for the third member of the Galaxy S
family. The Korean manufacturer probably will try in this way to maintain its
interest and thus sales of the S III to an acceptable level because they are
likely to collapse with the release of S 4.

Samsung Galaxy S4 apears in an official Samsung video
Samsung Galaxy S 4 and has
appeared this time in a picture posted on the official Samsung Mobile USA
Twitter account.
As can be seen with the naked
eye, Samsung has not been generous with details. Basically we have a geometric
shape more than a cell phone and only if we dare to say that we are dealing
with a new and much awaited Samsung Galaxy S 4. At first glance, such a pattern
is forming thick shadows not very different from Galaxy S III, the same
generous, rounded shape.
Those from gizmag.com have
reached the conclusion that has striking resemblance to the current Samsung
flagship. Probably most fans would be disappointed by this decision, but on the
other hand Samsung would have to invest major development, testing and
manufacturing for different housing materials used either alone or the shape.
Probably will be some design
differences from last year's model, but most likely the set of specifications
will have to impress. Of course a major impact would have a premium casing,
made of shiny plastic and eventually a futuristic shape.

Turn your smartphone into thermometer
Thermodo is a smartphone accessory designed to warn you of
the outside temperature.
A new day, a new interesting Kickstarter funding project was
found: a temperature sensor can be connected directly to the smartphone to
provide exact details on temperature.
We’ve seen quite a
few accessories before that turn your smartphone into an ordinary room
thermometer. What is so special about Thermodo? Well first of all it can be
connected directly to the phone via the audio port and gives temperature
information recorded near the phone. In other words if you want to get out and
don’t know how thick to dress, just get the phone outside the window
If you're wondering how this toy works, know that Thermodo
send an audio signal from the temperature sensor. Sound intensity is influenced
by temperature recorded and thus smartphones capture a signal that is then
analyzed by a compatible app. Thermodo comes supplied with a special trinket in
the few days after its launch enjoyed an incredible support from fans, managing
to raise nearly $ 150,000 in four days.
Thermodo is fully compatible both with iOS and Android
platforms, making it extremely versatile and easy to use for the majority of
smartphone owners. The producing company, Robocat managed to raise the $ 35,000
to start production and still fights for more funding to launching new variants
of color or materials.
Currently anyone can support the For the minimum
contribution of 25$ you will be able to get this great toy.
Samsung Galaxy S4 ?
A few days before the official presentation of the new
Samsung Galaxy S 4, rumors intensified more than ever. Also on this chapter, rumors
can enter and circulate new images online who are supposed to present the new
flagship Samsung even before its release. The pictures were loaded on a forum in
China and shows a Samsung phone Galaxy Note quite similar to 2, but has some
unique elements that could be recommend to the successor of Galaxy S III.
Under the name of GT-I9502, the phone seems to be a variant
specially designed for China operator Unicom and largely confirm rumors about
the specifications of the new top smartphone from Samsung. The so called Galaxy
S 4 has a 1080p display, runs on Android 4.2.1 and comes with a chipset
"Universal5410" (most likely a Octa Exynos 5410) a1.8GHz processor,
2GB RAM and PoverVR SGX 544MP graphics.
In all the photos can be seen a slightly different material
used for the housing (another texture), but still glossy and a slightly
different shape of main camera. Otherwise the phone looks like Galaxy S III
Notes 2 and but a bit too much if you were to ask me. Given the efforts of the
competition in terms of housing design: One HTC, Xperia Z, iPhone 5, is natural
to expect that Galaxy S 4 to offer something more than the same glossy plastic.
On the other hand, if the phone will be able to impress with
its performance and the unique features such as Smart Scroll (scroll activation
depending on the position of the eyes) or Smart Pause (stops playing when your
eyes move elsewhere) is likely to convince fans without an awesome design. For
now the information is unconfirmed, as well as the images that could be just a
test version, a figment of a fans imagination or just another phone model (if
you judge by the symbol showing dual SIM on the phones screen). However, in
three days we will find how it looks and how strong is the new Galaxy S 4 in
the launch event held in New York.
Samsung Galaxy Pop
Galaxy Pop is the new smartphone launched by Samsung, which
fits perfectly into the design lines of the older Samsung Galaxy S III.
If you’re not tired of the same rounded and glossy plastic
casing, Samsung brings to the market a new smartphone similar to the famous Galaxy
S III. Galaxy Pop is interesting but "common" in terms of external
appearance. Why do I say that? Because although I appreciate the work the South
Korean manufacturer, I can’t help of noticing that the new phones are other
released versions of Galaxy S III.
Virtually all Samsung smartphones borrowed the lines, shape
and design of last year's flagship, Galaxy and Galaxy Express and Galaxy Grand
being just two examples found at MWC 2013. Leaving aside the form, the new
Galaxy Pop boasts a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x
1280 pixels, a quad-core processor at 1.4 GHz, 1GB RAM, 8 or 16GB of internal
memory, support for micro SD card and a 2100 mAh battery.
As we had expected in terms of camera, Galaxy Pop fits into
the family to which it belongs, with an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p
Full HD. Undoubtedly, the 4G LTE compatibility is one of the most important
differences that set it aside from the rest of the Galaxy family, with a less common
casing color: loud orange.
The new Galaxy Pop is expected to arrive in the near future
on South Korean market with an unknown price.

Who will sell smartphones in 2013?
Nokia, ZTE, RIM,
Sony, HTC, LG and Lenovo take, in that order, places from 4 to 10 sites in top
sales, with a range of rates from 3.6 to 5% of the market. These minor
differences in sales fake for a great dynamism of the market in 2013. So, it is
almost impossible to predict what's next. Sony is just one of the companies who
promised to be in of the 3rd place. Motorola dropped from the top 10
last year and the rest don’t matters enough to be mentioned.
High expectations this year come from Apple, Samsung and
BlackBerry. The list should be completed by Nokia, the Finnish company which unfortunately
is struggling to survive. Two years after Nokia decided to embrace production
of Windows Phone, it becomes obvious that they signed their sentence. Windows
Phone 7 was a revolution, unfortunately Windows Phone 7.5 and WP8 were the same
"revolution", and changes aren’t insufficient to attract a remarkable
number of users. Windows Phone’s ecosystem has no problems. Nokia smartphones
products are of high quality and most reviews come with positive remarks when
it comes to the hardware. The problem is that no one has patience. Small
problems, missing applications from the Marketplace and slow evolution of the
entire system have caused the shortage of users.
BlackBerry had an excuse last year, but 2013 will not be
available. Blackberry said that in 2012, former RIM took a break. There was an
announcement about BlackBerry 10 who went from inertia. Terminals with the new
operating system appeared only at the end of last month. The first reviews,
although positive, describing some high performance terminals of and quality
but that’s about it. Even if systems problems are solved through a framework who
runs intermediate Android applications on BlackBerry 10, this is not enough.
BlackBerry will need something revolutionary to leave you stunned. In a market
where Apple and Samsung make the cards, the Canadian company had to reinvent
the smartphone we to chip a spot off the supremacy of the two companies. If
BlackBerry 10 is the greatest achievement that has emerged from their research
laboratories BlackBerry, it isn’t inconceivable that in another 12 months the
company's market share to decline, rather than increase significantly. We
should take in consideration that the problems iOS and Android had in the last
two years to enter the corporate environment have been resolved. Basically, the
strength of the platform invented by Research in Motion has disappeared.
Who sold smartphones in 2012?
Samsung had a great year. For the first time in the
company's history, the South Korean giant has received the title of largest
global producer of smartphones. Given that we are talking about a company that
deals exclusively for smartphones, the achievement is even more spectacular.
This performance is measured in 215 million smartphones sold and a market share
of 30.9 percent, up from 18.7 percent the previous year. Compared to 2011,
Samsung has brought in the hands of users 136% more smartphones in 2012.
In theory, Apple had a very good year. I say in theory
because although last year Apple sold 135.8 million iPhones compared to 93.1
million in 2011, this amount was reflected in an increase of only 0.4 percent of
the market share. Therefore, if in 2011, Apple was the first producer of smartphones
in the world, with 19.1 percent, and in 2012, came second with 19.5 percent.
Together, Samsung and Apple currently owns over half of the smartphone market.
By the rest of the producers, the difference from heaven to earth.
Huawei is in third place with 7.9% and must work incredibly
hard to keep this place in the rankings because other companies like Nokia,
BlackBerry, HTC and Sony are also competing to enter the top three in 2013. The
problem is that only third place will be available.
Nokia had last year 5% of the market, given that in 2011 had
15.9%. RIM's market share was 4.8%, down from the 10.8% the previous year. HTC
took 4.5% of the market compared to the 9.2 in 2011. All went down, with very
few exceptions. You may be tempted to boast Huawei or ZTE results. In reality,
these increases were due exclusively to the Chinese market, so small that there
is little chance that the next phone you buy will be a ZTE, especially if you
look at a high-end terminal or if you previously had a Samsung Galaxy S or
Apple iPhone.
In the same category as ZTE and Huawei might go Lenovo.
However, the performance of the company, which has since has grown to have its
headquarters in North Carolina, is completely different. Lenovo didn’t made phones
three years ago. The fact that in 2012 managed to sell 24.9 million devices, proves
that Lenovo found a recipe that many have had it in the past and lost it.
Who dominates the smartphone market ?
In the first months of the year, the major statistics companies
are fighting to tell us who dominates the smartphone market. Based on this
information, to see what has changed in the last 12 months and especially how
hard it is to change something in a field dominated by two players.
It seems simple. Manufacturers launch more and more powerful
phones, sign contracts with mobile operators and consumers end up changing their
phone every year ... really that simple? But the reality is that most
manufacturers impress increasingly less. For these devices the market is growing
from year to year, but there are fewer manufacturers getting richer from this.
The current phenomenon reminds me of the launch of the first
iPad, a device that wasn’t described in megahertz, megabytes or milliamps.
Again, specs matter less the brand name increasingly more. Obscure or less
obscure companies launch phones that you do not buy, even if in terms of specifications
might be close those of the S3.
In 2013, when we think of smartphones, we are talking about
a customer base that craves for the latest Galaxy or dreaming of the next
iPhone. Companies have created fans as if where rock bands. Launching new
devices seem like concerts and the first reviews are no longer limited to tests
and specifications, but the impressions, feelings and systems. In this system,
users of the Galaxy S II or S3 and will not buy anything than a new Galaxy S or
possibly a Note. The same is true with iPhone users who would not abandon their
precious iDevices.

Chinese, smartphone copies and consumer choices
Smartphones are produced almost exclusively in China. In
large part, the Chinese have access to the complete technology, owning the
practical schemes of these devices.
Copies of smartphones are becoming more diverse, certainly
the most copied is new product of a top of the range manufacturer. Most of
these products go to the European market or the U.S. market and, to the
surprise of many, even very successful. Price is one of the most important
factors. When you have a product similar to one that cost 600 euros, and the
final selling price for your product barely reaches 200 euros, you have all
chances of immediate success.
Samsung Galaxy S3 copies are very successful, both in terms
of design, as well as that of functionality and performance. You cannot see the
difference in touchscreen or operating system. Android is a free product that
facilitates passage to Chinese products, which until now were trying to copy
iOS or Symbian with their products.
Absolutely all manufacturers who have introduced products at
MWC 2013 is looking for distributors in Europe. Are willing to sell their
products at a price of 100 dollars for those who offers to buy more than 2000
pieces - this is somehow the lower limit. Of course for larger quantities the
price can drop even more. Add the taxes which can reach up to 300%, provides a
healthy profit to those who engage in such business.
An important element is product liability. Not like renowned
manufacturers like Samsung, components aren’t tested so well and they are not
as reliable. Quite common problems of poor quality are batteries or devices who
cease to function after only 2-3 weeks of use. Therefore, the products look
very good, but the internal processor and all components have a short life
span. Nobody can guarantee for their operation and their manufacturer assumes
no responsibility.
As a whole even these Chinese phones are worth a look, but
the decision lies with the costumer. Consumers should think if they pay 100-150
euros on such a device, cheaper than the devices of renowned companies, or if
they prefer brand products with all warranties included.
Samsung director shatters Windows 8
Is neither the first nor the last to complain about Windows
8, Dong-Soo Jun unfortunately from Samsung is a director whose opinion counts.
Division memory chip President of Samsung, Dong-Soo Jun
takes long term decisions related to power production dedicated RAM for
desktops, laptops or smartphones. In an era where PCs lose more and more
popularity, Dong-Soo doesn’t hesitate any second in a guilty finding.
In an interview with reporters in South Korea, Jun was very
drastic in saying that PC were not positively
impacted by the release of Windows 8, because it isn’t better than the previous
Windows platform Vista. "To leave no doubt in his statements, general
manager of Samsung has insisted on the same line. He said that at this time we
don’t see an explosion in the rate of adoption of ultra-books because of the
uncompetitive Windows platform".
Because of the position they occupy, things are very simple,
Dong-Soo Jon easily solved the problem caused by Microsoft. Moved his attention
almost entirely from memory chips to the classic smartphones and tablets. The
sad thing is, regardless of the number of complaints of Microsoft's latest operating
system, the Redmond will never change direction of development of operating systems.

Vuzix M100- The inteligent glasses
Vuzix M100 began to reach application developers rush to
market launch.
Smart glasses made by Vuzix seem to have the main goal to launch
it before the much publicized Google Glass.
In essence, smart glasses are quite similar to the Google
Glass and until now have not enjoyed much attention from the international
media. Therefore a good solution will be to launch as quickly as possible to
get a good lead from the main competitor to Google. If you're wondering what
would be good for these great glasses, you should know that Vuzix M100 is an
extension of the smartphone in your pocket and more. You can access content,
will help to shoot films, photos, run Android apps or take contact with
augmented reality.
No matter how useful it may be, one thing is very clear,
smart glasses are likely to become a new trend in terms of cool gadgets. Most
likely in the near future we will see an explosion of these devices, but the
real war front will give compatible applications, which help us in everyday
tasks. Vuzix “tests the watter” with Vuzix M100, but considering the power and
involvement of Google I find it hard to believe that the search giant is
threatened in any way.
Long term remains to be seen how manufacturers will be able
to improve and promote such devices designed to change the way we use mobile
technology.

iWatch Concept

If after some time analyzing rumors of a new Apple device,
be it with or without flexible displays, today we present a video that shows a
bold concept of iWatch, though rooted in science fiction movies. It is not the
first time that talented people choose to express their opinions and desires on
a gadget by making such presentation reels.
It seems no matter how truthful the film device, this is
done using well-placed video effects and do not think it has anything to do
with the iWatch from Apple. Of course if it exists even in future releases
agenda American giant. For the moment we do not know much about the watch mega,
super cool that people are supposed to work at Apple.
Most information sources are rumors and speculation are
without facts, but showing the appearance of a smart branded watch by Apple.
Whether we will see a release in 2013 iWatch or not, we certainly would like at
some point we like to play the clock clip. If we analyze, not long ago, even
Google Glass seemed out of a sci-fi production and soon we wear a nose gadget.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Review

As always when I get a new gadget or update for my PC
something new gets on the market. When I bought my Samsung galaxy S3 they announced the S4.
Confirms expectations and rumors that we will see a new S
bigger faster. At first glance it's a power upgrade that promises a phone on anabolic
steroids. Let's see some specifications which anticipate. Screen, housing,
camera, processor, battery, new functions.
Screen: Is 5 "too much?

Samsung is aligned with the diagonal of 5 "(4.99
exactly) with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, or 1080p. This implies a
pixel density of 443 ppi, which is the most advanced mobile display used so far
by Samsung. The solution is already used in several smartphones like Sony
Xperia Z, Huawei Ascend D2, ZTE Grand S, Asus Padfone Infinity. On the market
there are displays Sharp or LG IPS technology in these figures. And Samsung has
already announced this month that it will have a Super AMOLED 4.9 1080p
"is therefore logical to guess that S4 will be their first phone with this
display. It's the third over iPhone5 as pixel density though you will never
notice in everyday life. The idea is that you now have in your pocket a screen
as detailed as the one at home, if you have an LED, LCD or plasma FULL HD. This
however comes at a cost. Battery and GPU will work harder, will consume more
power. More pixels projected demand more rear light to see them. 5 "diagonal
density (crowding of pixels) is so large that we need more light. It remains to
be seen how it will do so in sunlight.
I would also add something about the ergonomics of the
display. It's already more than 0.2 "from the Samsung Galaxy S3 considered
when launching too high. Meanwhile we got used to the 5.5 "NOTE2's so it
would be a solution for small hands. Increased by 0.2 "in diagonal could
be introduced without affecting the ergonomics if Samsung would lower the edge
of the screen bezel that site. Motorola Razr I have already done this
successfully (although as a lower diagonal) display but packs a more compact
housing causing the phone to not look so big.
CPU: 8 cores??!
Samsung makes its own processors. Exynos is already a
recognized name in the industry. The problem is that everyone has quad-core
smart phones for over a year so you can’t come up with the same Exynos on it modifying
the frequency and helping it with 2 GB of RAM. Hearing about the possibility of
a phone with 8 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz so. Unfortunately is enormous and unnecessary
for an ordinary user’s needs. At least at first glance. So I'd bet on a
different strategy. I think we actually have two physical processors with four
cores or eight cores logical one in four individuals. The idea is to offer its
users the optimal speed for typical use and to "put NOS" on the 4
cores x 1.8 GHz when running advanced 3D games, video 4K (?) Or you can
transform your phone into a computer connected to TV. Samsung promises we can’t
just muscle up a bodybuilder on steroids who can’t run 100m hurdles. WOW must
come up with something to put this machine to work beyond the leader’s scores in
“benchmark" test.
Case: I hope it will not be all plastic. But...
You already know the Samsung's custom. Everything looks fine
and dandy on their phones, less material for its housing. Here to save and put
plastic so thin that it flexes like a piece of paper. Varnishes him and tell
him Glaze Hyper. However Samsung Galaxy S3 looks sexy and feels nice in the
hand because it's thin. To quote from Korean: "Le plastique east
Fantastique." It would be wrong however to upgrade to aluminum or
magnesium. Let's dream of polycarbonate, carbon fiber and Kevlar. If HTC, Nokia
or Motorola can, so can Samsung. Otherwise you end up Samsung Galaxy S4 is said
to be a HTC One plastic. That would hurt...
Memory: I hope for more than 32GB flash
Samsung also produces flash memory but is so expensive that
I do not think that will give us all out of 128GB. Will probably go for the
32GB and 64GB versions plus 25-50GB of Dropbox storage for a year. Doesn’t
sound bad but it will sound even better when local operators will offer free cloud
for large subscriptions. Orange prepares packages between 50-100GB of free
traffic slopes for mobile network cloud. Enough for me.
Operating System: Android 4.2 will do
Since 2.3.5, android never moved so well. New Jelly Bean
drone versions 4.1.2 or 4.2 on quad-core phones. New features such as ball room
or intelligent notifications, Google and others don’t impress us like the
stability of the new operating system. HTC One for example is the most powerful
Android tested which doesn’t delay not even a second when you open an application,
camera or internet browser. S4 should be faster, right?
Camera: 10 megapixel useless
On Samsung Galaxy S3 camera is mediocre. In a market with
8-megapixel sensors are all "fences" I do not want to hear an upgrade
to 10 megapixels is weak. I must admit that we can’t squeeze large sensor in a
thin phone. I want 4-5 mpx but well. Noiseless images and better low light
sensitivity. We already have good cameras on the iPhone 5, but the Lumia 920 is
by far the best of the HTC One. It is expected and optical stabilization
solution although I do not think it will be only one digital so that no filming
or pictures end shaken.
Battery: Lithium but large capacity!!

I do not think they have the courage to reinvent battery or
introduce technologies such fuel cells (fuel cell) or film solar load. Likely
to climb to 3,000 mAh battery as the new S4 Galaxy to pass over an intense day.
But it will be a challenge with a potent processor and a 1080p screen very
dense. Think that will bring wireless charging, because Samsung has joined the
alliance with PQI who wants to standardize the technology. You put the phone on
all kinds of devices with wireless charging technology like mouse pads,
speakers in the dashboard or in the future office from IKEA as is already with
the Nokia Lumia 920.
What else?
I talked to people who have seen it and saw that it can do
and some things WOW. I mean look at the bottom of the screen and runs on the
picture. It used the front room as it does now with Smart Stay function that
keeps the screen on while you look at it. There will probably revive the S Voice
that does not work today. It is expected that Samsung's fans add features for
photo and video sharing and advanced screen mirroring on new TVs. Samsung All
Share Cast Dongle is already a pretty good device for that and the technology
can be improved.
These are my reasonable expectations of the new S4. We need
to take into account another fact. S4 will be the phone of 2013 and will cement
Samsung's leadership in this market. They chose to launch in the U.S., New York
in Times Square. This is a strong statement. And maybe shake and dust of is. It
is the most stable operating system on a mobile phone but it's time to restore
it and become the smartest.
South Koreans from Samsung will launch the new Galaxy range on March14

Samsung Galaxy smartphone will launch next March 14 in New
York, after the Galaxy S3 was launched in London, and analysts believe this
move as an intent to Koreans strongest rival, Apple in the North American
market.
In the promotional clip for Samsung Galaxy S4 takes the
features, but stated that this phone will be one of the most amazing devices
that were launched on the market since color television.
Samsung Galaxy S4 is speculated that it will have a 5-inch
screen, quad-core 2 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 16GB storage space can be expanded up to 64
GB, 13 MP camera and system the Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
